4-week CSIA or CASI Level 1 instructor course in Whistler Blackcomb


For ski or snowboarding enthusiasts who would like to develop their skills, Oyster offer a fantastic and detailed programme which enables you to gain a Level 1 ski or snowboard instructor qualification whilst enjoying the slopes of Whistler for 4 weeks. You also have the opportunity to take the AST (Avalanche Skills Training) level 1 course and become competent in customer service, communications, injury prevention, equipment tuning and boot fitting. 

You will be required to handle the equivalent of red runs in Europe or blue runs in North America, however you do not have to be an expert skier or snowboarder.

Accommodation is very comfortable in spacious chalets located within easy reach of the slopes. You have access to shared communal areas looking out on to a sun deck. You have the choice of 6 delicious continental breakfast and hot dinners each week or self-catering if you prefer.

Canada has a limited number of work visas each year and competition is high.  The great thing about this programme is that you only need a tourist visa - obtainable on arrival. 

The cost of this programme, for 4 weeks, is £3540 based on sharing a room with three other people and being self-catered. (other accommodation and a catered option is also available).
